Kris Thompson is originally from Hackensack, N.J. and moved to Georgia with his family at a young age. He studied Journalism/Communications at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, G.A.
Martel Wisdom is originally from Bronx, N.Y. and also moved to Georgia with his family at a young age. He studied Biology at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, G.A.
They are a part of the Apostolic/Pentecostal church (One God, Holiness, Apostles Doctrine) and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many that will hear it is their passion, they love God and he is first and foremost. Basketball has always been a hobby, but at the same time a subject (particularly the NBA) they know very well, and in December of 2010 -KRISnTEL- was born!
They currently conduct a weekly podcast, revealing biblical truths on a plethora of subjects and then discussing some NBA hoops. The show can be downloaded in a variety of ways including but not limited to iTunes. Every episode begins with the “Spiritual Devotion Segment” which is where different subjects are tackled and answers are revealed using the only source that matters; The Holy Bible (KJV). The latter part of each show contains some insightful chatter on the NBA and NBA related topics, occasionally with NBA affiliated guests!
Both guys love and serve Jesus Christ first and follow the NBA second, bringing you the best of both worlds.
